The IT Buddy Scheme has been running for four months, we now have well over 50 Kirklees residents receiving IT Tution and mentoring from 12 individuals across the Kirklees District. You can now access free IT Tuition in Paddock (The Village Hall, Huddersfield), The Longwood mechanics Institute (Huddersfield), The Lodge Training Centre (Batley), Thornhill Lees Community Centre (Dewsbury), The Hub (Kirkburton, Hudds), The Denby Dale Centre and Mirfield Library & Information Centre. We are also in dicsussions with other community centres and libraries to roll out the service to more users across the region.

If you would like any further information regarding the IT Buddy Scheme or the eligibility criteria please contact Giles Harrison (Scheme Co-ordinator) on 07986 431 575 or 01484 431 400, alternatively send an e-mail to Giles@PaddockForum.org.uk

If you do not qualify for the scheme please do not be put off as we are here to help and will advise you on where you can access adult education and skill development. We are always on the look out for reliable and dedicated volunteers so if you would like to share you IT Skills with others please don't hesitate to get in touch.
